OVERVIEW

The Website Production Specialist is responsible for maintaining/developing our consumer-facing websites, based on brand guidelines & consumer insights. They oversee monitoring, assessing, & reporting on content & conversion performances, ensuring websites function & handling a range of online marketing projects. This entry-level position has a basic understanding of Content Management Systems, hosting & server management through vendor relationships, & develops/maintains website content.

JOB DUTIES

  • Handles content management systems (CMS); implementing upgrades/enhancements & site redesigns, monitoring analytics, ensuring accessibility compliance, integrating & maintaining external feeds, & pursues best practices in website management & maintenance.
  • Responsible for assisting in the performance of all marketing websites ensuring they continue to be a top source of leads while identifying & executing on strategies to scale the volume of lead engagements & conversions.
  • Actively follows trends in tech & digital publishing to ensure website follows best practices in audience engagement, UX, SEO & regulatory requirements
  • Updates images/content as needed across a vast array of internal webpages with precision
  • Collabs with marketing team members & SEO specialists to create/maintain compelling & relevant web content
  • Collabs with SEO specialists & vendors to develop & implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) & keyword strategies across websites; educates the marketing team on SEO strategies
  • Supports quality assurance guidelines and process documentation to maximize quality of content, approach to enhancements/deployments and user experiences
  • Assists in the development of new website pages from ideation to completion
  • Uses data & analytics to inform the development of efficient enhancements, lead generation, integrations & content for marketing needs & campaigns
  • Liaisons tasks between Sun Communities & vendors
  • Helps with documentation & optimization of processes
  • Identifies errors & helps with resolution to corresponding internal & external teams
  • Other duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related. (Required)
  • 1 year digital marketing experience
  • 2 years social media experience-Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • 2 years Web Content Management, UX design and/or production, and/or digital marketing.
  • 2 years email campaign experience
  • 6 months web analytics, interactive design, social media trends, web development/design, HTML and CSS
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud software offerings. including Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365 software offerings, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, marketing, and planning skills.
  • General web maintenance knowledge, including domains, redirects, plugins, DNS.
  • Skilled and patient communicator via email, phone and in-person.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and provide suggestions for process improvements, cost savings or alternative execution methods.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and humble team member capable of working remotely without constant oversight.
  • Excellent communication, grammar and presentation skills.
  • Flexible, autonomous team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus, though not required.
  • The ability to embrace and learn new technology quickly is essential. Candidates who know their way around project management tools and software such as Wrike, Asana, SharePoint and/or Zendesk will have an advantage.
