Job Summary
Job Duties
- Educates Operations partners on standard operating procedures and training programs to ensure team members comply with respective policies and procedures. (Essential)
- Manages $500k or less Utility & Infrastructure projects through partnership with respective Operations partners from start to finish. (Essential)
- Partners with Operations team and 3rd party operators to ensure respective community utilities drinking water, wastewater, and infrastructure are operating correct, efficiently, and remain in compliance with regulatory requirements. (Essential)
- Collaborates with Community leaders, Regional Vice Presidents, and Divisional Vice Presidents to address and develop solutions for infrastructure issues. (Essential)
- Partners with Operations teams to correct deficiencies, review and analyze respective proposals & contracts, select qualified contractors to complete capital improvements/projects, and monitors all project-related udpates to ensure timely completion. (Essential)
- Implements, creates, and manages programs as needed and required by permits. (Essential)
- Identifies and collects data to help structure future Utility and Infrastructure capital projects as it relates to future budgeting. (Essential)
- Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Supports Construction Services partners on larger capital expenditure projects as needed throughout the country.
- Collaborates with Construction Services partners and Operations teams to upgrade and replace respective water and sewer infrastructure.
- Inspects and monitors both Construction and Utility projects to ensure conformation to respective regulatory compliance and specifications.
- Refines standard operations procedures for water treatment plants and waste-water treatment facilities, in addition to other standard operating procedures as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Environmental Compliance, or similar areas preferred. (Preferred)
- 7 years in Experience in Drinking Water, Wastewater, Senior Operator, Plant Management, or comparable field. (Required)
- 2 years in Demonstrates experience in utilizing Microsoft Office suite products for program management success. (Required)
- Ability to effectively communicate with both field leadership and senior leadership
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Thorough knowledge of and ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings and utility compliance permits.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel by car or plane with overnight stays as required: 10%
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to foster relationships and collaborate across business units to leverage success.
- Preferred Certifications/Licensures:(Drinking Water & Waste Water Operator License )
