Team Leader, Enterprise Systems

OVERVIEW

The Team Leader, Enterprise Systems is responsible for establishing and maintaining Sun's enterprise system and product management standards and best practices in support of the company's core operating system strategy. This position mentors and directs the work of System Managers on system ownership, design, configuration, implementation, testing, communication, maintenance and administration. This position will also act as a Systems Manager on select projects.

JOB DUTIES

  • Partners with Innovation team leadership to assess and refine Sun's enterprise system management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Leads collaborative efforts to ensure systems operate smoothly and are supported with a customer-centric approach.
  • Provides daily management and oversight of System Manager and Product Owner positions.
  • Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Oversees system roadmap and configuration across manufactured housing, recreational vehicle, and accounting front and back-office enterprise applications
  • Maintains and develops expertise in software capabilities, both current and on future release roadmap
  • Guides the team of System Managers in partnering with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform and gain buy-in on the product, vision, strategy, features and prioritization
  • Establishes expectations and ensures accountability to master data management and oversight within the Center of Excellence
  • Creates, reviews, and maintains internal documentation to support system administration desktop procedures
  • Collaborates with project teams to coordinate system upgrades including timing, testing, and rollout
  • Handles acquisition, disposition, and conversion support across enterprise applications
  • Directs the actions of the Center of Excellence team in relation to dashboard building and maintenance, workflow creation and maintenance
  • Acts as relationship management point of contact and escalation with software vendors key contacts for enterprise applications
  • Researches emerging trends that may apply to enterprise and drive adoption strategy
  • Drives feature requests with software vendors and the internal development team
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field (Required)
  • 5 years in product ownership, system administration, or system support role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven record of continually seeking learning opportunities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to understand and translate the voice of business customers
  • Ability to think creatively to solve customer requests using configuration
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and reporting skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio
  • Ability to take initiative and embrace change
  • Knowledge of configuration and support best practices and methodologies
