Talent Underwriter

Position Summary

 

The Talent Underwriter partners with the Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure an exceptional recruiting experience for our candidates and hiring managers. They conduct the pre-hire process for new hires and maintain clear lines of communication with the Talent Acquisition Specialists, Onboarding Coordinators, hiring managers and candidates.

 

Duties

  1. Administers pre-employment screening process including initiating and reviewing background check and drug screening; analyzes results to ensure minimum hiring requirements are met.
  2. Ensures accurate and timely completion of information and documentation necessary to complete the pre-hiring process.
  3. Coordinates new hire start dates with managers; submits candidate start date changes as requested.
  4. Generates offer letters and Initiates onboarding process.
  5. Maintain records by including proper documentation in candidate profiles.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field (Preferred)
  • 2-3 years administrative support experience
  • 2 years HR experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
