Sun Homes Assistant

Our Loss Mitigation team is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced administrative support professional to join it's team in Southfield, Michigan.  If you are able to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment, this may be the opportunity for you!


The Sun Homes Assistant provides administrative support to Sun Homes teams by handling inventory processing, maintaining filing systems, and providing other clerical support.


  1. Processes homes returned to inventory (RTIs) and ensures records are complete by regularly following up with internal contacts to ensure appropriate paperwork is on file.
  2. Inputs new and pre-owned homes into internal systems, including Lotus Notes databases and Yardi.
  3. Scans and verifies original sale and lease documents into document imaging system.
  4. Monitors and updates information in databases.
  5. Manages complex filing and scanning systems.
  6. Performs general administrative functions such as answering phones, typing, photocopying, faxing, filing and other administrative duties as assigned.
  7. Sorts and distributes department mail.
  8. Prepares and distributes various reports.
  9. Places office supply orders for Sun Homes.
  10. Other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience
  • Experience with homes sales or apartment leasing, preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines while paying close attention to detail to ensure accuracy
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others inside as well as outside the company
  • Intermediate computer proficiency with the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, and provide data entry in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
