Job Summary

The Scrum Master drives team performance by championing Agile principles, fostering collaboration, and removing obstacles to delivery. This role guides teams in adopting and evolving Scrum practices, facilitates key ceremonies, mentors team members, and supports continuous improvement across multiple projects.

Job Duties

  • Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions. (Essential)
  • Optimize Scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance. (Essential)
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the software development lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met. (Essential)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate delivery of work product from the teams and escalate key risks and issues impeding Scrum team effectiveness. (Essential)
  • Training, mentoring, and supporting Scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
  • Scheduling and facilitating Scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
  • Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams make improvements.
  • Planning and organizing release handoff sessions between the Development and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Facilitate planning and prioritization discussion for agile activities.
  • Ability to work with onshore and offshore teams, managing schedules and expectations of Scrum teams.
  • Preparing and presenting backlog status reports to stakeholders.
  • Guide the teams to follow agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each release.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Train the Scrum team and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.
  • Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 3 years in Experience as a Scrum Master (Required)
  • 1 year in Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Required)
  • Experience with Netsuite ERP.
  • Strong knowledge of agile Scrum principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with functional and technical audiences.
  • Effective at working across organizational boundaries.
  • Extensive knowledge of Work Management Software, preferably Wrike.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures:(Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).)
