Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist

Position Summary

 

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is the content owner and primary administrator of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. They are responsible for working with the Salesforce System Manager to ensure continued delivery of innovative, high quality solutions to meet business needs for departments using CRM, marketing communication tools or marketing data.

 

Duties

  1. Maintains customer data integrity by performing data maintenance tasks such as de-duping, uploads and other data quality assurance procedures in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  2. Drives and increases user adoption for marketing-specific features and functionality and ensures user satisfaction by identifying training gaps and system problems; provides training and solutions
  3. Creates target lists and advise on opportunities for marketing automation
  4. Reviews and understands general organization drivers and context for development projects and maintains the marketing request/support pipeline; works with internal teams to determine priority, then evaluates and executes requested changes
  5. Recommends modifications to improve system performance, efficiency, internal business process and reporting
  6. Researches changes in upcoming Salesforce Marketing Cloud releases, as well as other integrated applications; provides recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity, partners with Innovation Team to implement upgrades and new features
  7. Maintains ongoing documentation processes as business needs evolve or as features are added
  8. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to execute marketing and advertising campaigns
  9. Uses reporting tools to measure success of campaigns and digital presence
  10. Partners with key stakeholders to better leverage current marketing systems and identify key opportunities for improvements
  11. Works with Marketing team to execute audience-centric ROI driven initiatives, segmenting users based on profile, behavior history and acquisition source
  12. Manages audience identification and targeting across all systems for new and existing customers, identifying areas for automation based on lead nurture and campaign strategy
  13. Partners with marketing strategists to identify key audiences, appropriate messaging and CTAs to meet brand awareness, lead generation and revenue targets
  14. Other duties and special projects as assigned

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field (Required)
  • 3 years marketing and digital analytics experience
  • 2 years Salesforce CRM and/or Marketing Cloud/Extract Target experience
  • 1 year SQL, SQQL or other query language experience
  • Salesforce Certification
  • Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
