Revenue Manager

Main Office (MOS)

 

 

Position Summary

The Revenue Manager is responsible for implementing and managing revenue management strategy and processes at selected high value transient properties within a large portfolio of RV resorts & campgrounds, optimizing and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Duties

  1. Collaborate with the data analyst team to develop a system of detailed reporting models for selected high value transient properties.
  2. Monitor reservation and revenue trends through various detailed reports and recommend strategies to senior management that will maximize revenue opportunities.
  3. Conduct property inspections with Regional Vice President and Resort Manager to identify revenue opportunities and proper site mix.
  4. Administer market surveys on a regular basis to evaluate product pricing and to gauge demand opportunity during key local events.
  5. Review booking policies and provide recommendations that will maximize opportunity and retention.
  6. Create detailed rate plans by site types, monitor pacing, and test pricing elasticity.
  7. Collaborate with marketing team on promotions and specials in order to increase demand when needed.
  8. Review and analyze existing business process within the various functions of Sun RV Resorts, including making recommendations for improvement and developing an implementation plan.
  9. Assist with the development of the Property Management System within Sun RV Resorts, including providing strategies for enhancements that will benefit revenue growth and efficiencies.
  10. Prepare Sun RV Resorts transient RV and Vacation Rental revenue budgets on an annual basis and provide forecasting guidance on a quarterly basis.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics. (Required)
  • 5 years experience in a Revenue Management Role
  • 5 years experience in financial or business analytical modeling
  • 6 months previous property management or hospitality industry experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail, modeling and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task between multiple departments
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
