We are looking for a Resort Customer Service Specialist to respond guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. OVERVIEW

Resort Customer Service Specialists manage guest’s expectations by responding to customer service inquiries or requests for or from a stay at a Sun Communities property. They document, track and resolve all issues that are presented to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Resort Customer Service Specialists provide solutions to enrich customer retention and build relationships with our guests.

This position has the option to work remotely within the Metro Detroit area. 

JOB DUTIES

  1. Ensure a positive customer experience by effectively managing all customer inquiries that come in through Sun's social media channels.
  2. Respond to all customer social site reviews and track ratings and responses within Salesforce.
  3. Identifies potential issues utilizing the Customer Case Management process and ensure the proper customer resolution follow up occurs.
  4. Utilize Salesforce Social Studio to manage social media customer responses and provide reporting as requested.
  5. Identifies sales opportunities presented through customer service cases.
  6. Meets or exceed the targeted closure rate of customer service cases and all assigned goals.
  7. Adheres to all company policies.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
