RV Business Operations Analyst

Main Office (MOS)

 

 

Position Summary

The RV Business Operations Analyst works within the revenue management team and oversees reservation system processes. They provide support to operations through analyzing current processes and implementing new procedures to drive growth and improve efficiency. This position works closely with all departments to manage data and provide key metrics for decision making.

Duties

  1. Provides leadership and oversight when converting and developing RV reservation systems, including making recommendations on needed changes to current programs in order to improve efficiency and the customer experience.
  2. Analyzes and reviews business processes existing within the various functional areas of Sun RV Resorts as requested, including making recommendations for improvement and creating an implementation plan.
  3. Collaborates with other departments to provide new programs that will enhance the company's ability to make strategic future decisions.
  4. Organizes and manages all rates within the RV portfolio and provides analysis to help drive annual revenue growth.
  5. Supports reporting of financial analysis on Sun RV resorts to the accounting and finance team for use in preparing quarterly and annual reports to shareholders and other external parties.
  6. Assists with developing and maintaining the loyalty program for guests at Sun RV Resorts.
  7. Prepares and reviews weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as assigned.
  8. Collaborates with the revenue management team and operations leadership to develop and maintain models that monitor the overall performance of Sun's RV Resorts Transient, Vacation Rental, and annual revenue programs.
  9. Provides user acceptance review of key internal development projects to ensure enhancements meet business needs.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in in Business, Accounting, or Finance. (Required)
  • 5 years experience in financial or business analytical modeling.
  • 6 months previous real estate experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, modeling and organizational skills.
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau a plus with the ability to use email and internet
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and improve process efficiencies.
  • Excellent ability to multi-task between multiple departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
