Do you have a knack for creating deliciously perfected beverages? We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Café Supervisor who is passionate about serving others with spectacular service.

OVERVIEW

As a Café Supervisor, you'll prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages for Sun team members at its cafe while ensuring to provide prompt, quality customer service. You'll ensure the beverage bar is clean and sanitary, paper products are stocked, and place product orders as needed. Additionally, you'll assist in various areas of the office as needed.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Coordinate team member selection, training, scheduling and development of direct reports and ensure team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  2. Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
  3. Greet team members, take orders, prepare and serve beverages, as well as various sweet offerings, in accordance to established service standards (i.e. coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, pastries, gelato).
  4. Place product orders, receive and verify vendor deliveries, and stock products as needed; maintain a good working relationship with vendors.
  5. Ensure beverage bar area, including counters and equipment, is clean and sanitary.
  6. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
  7. Ensure consistent product availability by keeping adequate inventory.
  8. Efficiently serve team members by being knowledgeable of offerings.
  9. Assist with various administrative duties including ordering products, organizing stock room, coordinating vendors, etc.
  10. Research and resolve quality and service complaints and/or issues.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a barista role
  • Previous supervisor experience
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
