Anaplan System Manager

Main Office: Off Site (MOO)



Position Summary


The Anaplan System Manager is responsible for managing the configuration and oversight of Anaplan based models used in budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and reporting company financial and other information.

***This position has the option to work from home.



  1. Develop, enhance, maintain and ensure the accuracy of Anaplan based models and dashboards.
  2. Work closely with the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis, to complete and optimize development of Anaplan Long Range Planning models to bring functionality online and manage on an ongoing basis.
  3. Direct other projects including enhancing the Anaplan platform related to the company's ERP migration from Yardi to NetSuite and the companys Anaplan Variance Comment development project.
  4. Completing testing and deploying of applications within Anaplan.
  5. Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improvising existing Anaplan models.
  6. Manage the development and implementation of Anaplan budget model enhancements.
  7. Research and provide recommendations for expanded use cases of the Anaplan platform in support of company initiatives to enhance visibility to accurate data and analyses.
  8. Other duties and special projects as requested.
  9. Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve the system performance, providing enhancements for recommendations as needed
  10. Collaborating with managers/consultants/customers to identify end-user requirements.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
  • Anaplan Master Anaplanner certification (Required)
  • New UX experience (Required)
  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Preferred)
  • 5 years financial reporting and analysis and/or project management experience
  • 5 years Anaplan implementation and/or development experience
  • 3 years system administration experience
  • Ability to translate complex Excel models into effective and scalable Anaplan models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Accounting/budgeting software programs
