Activities Coordinator

How would you like to work in a fun, fast-paced, and customer-focused role? Do you enjoy organizing cool events and activities? We are looking for an Activities Coordinator to help our residents and guests have a wide range of “fun things” they can participate in one of our communities.


As an Activities Coordinators, you'll plan and coordinate a variety of activities for the residents and guests as one of our communities.


  1. Plan, coordinate, attend, and supervise all activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners.
  2. Assist with producing a calendar of events for the next calendar season while ensuring to stay within budget expectations; prepare monthly and annual activity budgets as requested.
  3. Set-up and clean-up before and after events.
  4. Maintain a balance sheet for each activity showing income, expenses, attendance and vendors used.
  5. Ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner; document all payments.
  6. Assist with training and supervising activities team members and volunteers.
  7. Maintain accurate office and activity supply inventories.
  8. Assist with preparing newsletters and distribute to residents and guests.
  9. Organize fundraising activities to support the department.
  10. Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition.
  11. Other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well with others, inside as well as outside the company
  • Ability to negotiate prices/contracts on behalf of the community
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet
