Position Summary

The Recruiting Assistant thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organizational skills, operates with high attention to detail, and has strong communication skills. They are responsible for supporting the Manager, Talent Acquisition with preparing open job postings for approval, responding to recruiting-related inquiries, and providing backup support to the Talent Acquisition team.


  1. Prepares and submits high volumes of open job postings in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for approval.
  2. Responds to inquiries related to recruiting, including providing information on the application process and updating applicants on status of applications.
  3. Assists with coordinating hiring events.
  4. Provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Specialists by assisting with sourcing efforts.
  5. Provides back-up support to the Talent Underwriters.

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 2 years 2 years administrative support experience
  • 1 year 1-2 years HR experience, preferred
  • Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of HR functional areas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
