Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Shop Manager to lead our retail operations. In this role, you will manage the shop's day-to-day activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, effective stock management, and meeting sales targets. If you have experience in retail management and a passion for customer service.

Job Duties

  • Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Lead and manage the shop team, providing training, support, and motivation to achieve the best customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Coordinate promotional activities, ensuring effective merchandising and staff awareness.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring it is always well-presented.
  • Stay up to date with market trends and customer demands, adapting shop offerings accordingly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management, with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to take initiative and make decisions that positively impact sales and customer experience.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage stock and staff effectively.
  • Previous experience in a retail management role is essential.
  • This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
