Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Assistant to support the reconciliation and reporting of cash-in-transit (CIT) transactions across our holiday parks. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their finance career within a supportive and fast-paced team environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cash control, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement in treasury processes. Job Duties

  • Assist in reconciling cash, cheque, and PDQ payments received across all parks against revenue recorded.
  • Investigate discrepancies in CIT reports and escalate unresolved issues to the Treasury Accountant.
  • Support the preparation of CIT reconciliation reports, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed, organised records of transactions and reconciliation activities.
  • Monitor existing cash handling and reconciliation processes and suggest improvements.
  • Assist with bank reconciliation tasks and related treasury duties as required.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team to support cashflow accuracy and control.
  • Report concerns or anomalies in a timely manner to maintain financial integrity.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of cash management and reconciliation procedures.
  • Experience in a finance or accounts role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to maintain clear and complete records.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in liaising across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using financial systems.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and support others.
  • Team player with a methodical, process-driven approach to tasks.
