Job Summary

Our Payroll Team is expanding, and we are excited to be seeking a new colleague with end-to-end payroll experience using SAP Success Factors Employee Central Payroll.
You’ll be a team player, ready to get involved with both our monthly and weekly payrolls, and able to deal with a range of queries from employees at all levels across the organisation.  Whilst the Payroll Team is based in our office in Bexhill-On-Sea (East Sussex) there is significant flexibility for the right candidate in terms of working location within the UK.

Job Duties

  1. Work with the team to process accurate and timely monthly and weekly payrolls from start to finish
  2. Dealing with more complex payroll queries
  3. Supporting with end of year payroll processes and key financial reporting
  4. Supporting with requests from our auditors
  5. Deputise for the Payroll Manager as required

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Success Factors Employee Central Payroll
  • You will have worked in an inhouse payroll team where the entire payroll process is managed inhouse
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Keep up to date with fiscal changes
  • Provide consistent and best practice advice regarding payroll
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
  • Able to work independently but also a team player
  • Shows initiative and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident in dealing with employees at all levels and able to manage queries via our Zendesk ticketing system through to completion
  • Clear and professional communication skills both written and verbal
  • High levels of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Experience of working through a payroll transformation project is desirable
  • CIPP qualification would be ideal
  • Experience of working in a SOX environment or an understanding of SOX would be useful
