Administrative Assistant - Finance and Treasury

Join our team at Sun Communities and embark on an exciting new opportunity! We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Finance and Treasury department.

OVERVIEW

As an Administrative Assistant you'll be responsible for performing various administrative tasks in a conscientious, organized and effective manner. You'll also assist with miscellaneous projects in the department as requested.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Coordinate and provide all information related to annual site visits by lender.
  2. Submit responses and follow-up on letters from annual inspections completed by the lender.
  3. Assist with the ACH administration of accounts, deposits, and NSF items.
  4. Perform general administrative support functions such as scanning, organizing files, copying, opening and sorting mail, and labeling and other related duties.
  5. Pull invoices and checks from paid accounts payable invoice files as requested; make copies and file invoices.
  6. Print or save reports from accounting system for the quarterly/annual debt compliance.
  7. Maintain an organized and adequate inventory of office supplies for the department; maintain cleanliness and organization of department by keeping public areas such as the office supply room and accounting conference room clear of clutter or misplaced items.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience
  • Previous experience working in an accounting department, preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
