How would you like to work in a fun, fast-paced, and customer-focused role? We are looking for an enthusiastic Arcade Attendant to help ensure our guests have the best experience possible at one of our RV resorts.

OVERVIEW

As an Arcade Attendant, you'll be responsible for assisting guests and customers of the arcade facility and performing minor repairs on the game machines.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Smile and greet guests upon entering the arcade.
  2. Assist guests and customers of the arcade; explain operation of game machines and exchange coins for paper currency.
  3. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner; provide answers to questions, make recommendations and escalate issues as necessary.
  4. Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs on game machines; remove obstructions, reposition mechanism, insert coins, and observe machine operation.  Report machines needing additional maintenance to manager.
  5. Observe conduct of guests and customers in the facility to ensure orderliness, removing disruptive customers when needed.
  6. Assist guests in redeeming winning tickets for prizes.
  7. Complete daily inventory of prizes and tickets.
  8. Troubleshoot coin machine issues as necessary; remove coin accepter mechanism, insert coins, and observe machine operation.
  9. Place out-of-order signs on defective machines and return money lost in defective machines to customer.
  10. Clean and maintain the redemption counter and machines; ensure prize inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed and sufficiently stocked.  Communicate inventory shortages to manager.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Education (some HS education required)
  • Previous customer service experience, preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use the email and internet
